About the Role
Our client is a highly mission-driven organization dedicated to keeping Alaskans connected and cared for. They are seeking a Clinical Educator to lead in-house and outreach educational programs for Ground & Flight Operations. This role drives staff development, clinical readiness, and a culture of safety and accountability across the organization.
What You’ll Do
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate educational programs for clinical staff
- Conduct skills assessments, simulation-based training, and scenario evaluations
- Collaborate with leadership to identify needs and implement evidence-based training
- Maintain training materials aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor during routine and high-acuity transports
- Support onboarding, precepting, and ongoing staff development
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, root cause analyses, and safety debriefs
- Plan, revise, and update curricula, course content, and instructional methods
- Instruct recertification classes and Human Patient Simulation activities
- Provide outreach education and maintain educational records
Qualifications
- Licensed RN or Paramedic in the State of Alaska
- Prior medical transport experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BSN, BEM, BSES, BAE, or equivalent) preferred
- 5+ years of clinical and/or teaching experience
- Experience designing and delivering education and training programs
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel to other bases and participate in offsite training
- Highly organized with a strong sense of personal accountability
