Your Day-to-Day
- Deliver engaging instruction across core subjects, GED prep, and enrichment activities.
- Collaborate with mental health professionals to integrate treatment plans into learning.
- Support students with IEPs alongside Special Education Teachers.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide crisis intervention when needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation and assist with program development.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
- Current Alaska teaching certificate (or substitute accepted by FNSBSD).
- Ability to work as part of an education and mental health team.
- Familiarity with special education laws.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain).
- Physical ability for crisis intervention techniques (training provided).
