R&M Named One of Zweig Group’s 2026 Best Firms To Work For

R&M CONSULTANTS, INC. (R&M) has been recognized as one of Zweig Group’s 2026 Best Firms To Work For. The firm ranked #10 in the 100-199 Employees category and #11 in the Civil Engineering category, marking R&M's 15th consecutive year on the list. The award honors outstanding architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) workplaces across the United States and Canada that excel in employee experience, workplace culture and organizational performance.

The recognition reflects R&M's continued commitment to fostering a workplace where employees feel valued, supported and empowered to grow professionally. Notably, 100% of R&M employees who completed the survey agreed that R&M is a Best Firm To Work For.

"This recognition is especially meaningful because it comes directly from our employees,” said R&M’s Chief Executive Officer Len Story, PLS. “I’m proud to be a part of the R&M team and work alongside such talented and dedicated people who care deeply about each other, our clients and the communities we serve throughout Alaska. This award reflects the culture we have built together and reinforces our belief that investing in our people is the foundation of our long-term success."

The Best Firms To Work For Award is the AEC industry's leading employee survey and benchmarking program. Firms are evaluated based on a combination score from a corporate survey assessing workplace policies and practices and an anonymous employee survey measuring employee satisfaction, engagement and feedback. The program provides participating firms with valuable insights that help strengthen culture, improve retention and enhance the overall employee experience.

R&M participates in the Best Firms To Work For program as part of its ongoing commitment to maintaining a strong workplace culture and providing employees with opportunities for professional growth and development. The firm uses feedback gathered through the survey process to better understand employee priorities and inform decisions about workplace programs, benefits and policies.
