This role provides direct acute primary health care services including diagnosis, treatment, referral, and follow-up. The position will provide supervision and direction to medical staff. Would you like to: 
  • Provide consistent personnel management and financial oversight
  • Provide patient care services via ambulatory clinic/long-term care facility, telehealth, or home visit
  • Educate patients in the nature of their health conditions, recommend therapies, promote good health and disease prevention
  • Establish patient care goals; counsel/educate patient, friends/family reinforcing understanding of disease, medications, and self-care skills.  Provide emotional and psychological support throughout the process
  • Audit patient/department records; monitor workloads, identify peak/slack periods, make adjustments as necessary 
  • Write and update policies and procedures
  • Be available for staff consultation 
  • Maintain partnerships with medical organizations at local, state and national levels 
  • Recognize, identify, and resolve issues without direct supervision
  • Take a systems approach to problem-solving and process improvement
  • Provide instruction to employees
  • Provide monthly report to supervisor
You need:  
  • Medical Doctor (MD), Doctor of Medicine of Osteopathy (DO) from a school in the United States by a recognized accredited body in the year of the applicant’s graduation
  • Progressively responsible administrative/management work in an ambulatory health facility which indicates ability to acquire knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of this position
  • Minimum five years of supervisory experience
