Palmer, Alaska – Multi-platinum rockers Theory of a Deadman will take over the Alaska State Fair stage this summer as part of the 2024 ConocoPhillips Alaska Concert Series. The group will perform Friday, August 30, at 7 p.m. at the Borealis Theatre. With major multi-platinum hits and countless sold-out shows, Theory of a Deadman has proven themselves as a hard rock force over the past two decades. Jamming together in basements throughout high school, the band burst out of their small hometown of North Delta, British Columbia, with the self-titled, Theory of a Deadman, in 2002.
Since then, they’ve put out the double-platinum breakthrough album Scars & Souvenirs in 2008 and gold-certified The Truth Is… in 2011. They have also notched a procession of hits, including the gold-certified “All Or Nothing,” “Bitch Came Back” and “Lowlife,” platinum-certified “Angel,” “Hate My Life” and “Not Meant To Be,” double-platinum “Bad Girlfriend” and triple-platinum “RX (Medicate).” The award-winning quartet released their eighth full-length offering, Dinosaur, in 2023.
Theory of a Deadman fans can purchase tickets starting at 10 a.m. AKST tomorrow, Friday, March 22, on the Fair website, alaskastatefair.org, joining the previously announced concerts featuring Oliver Anthony, Whiskey Myers, Mt. Joy, Kolohe Kai, Ludacris, Stephen Sanchez, NEEDTOBREATHE, Wynonna Judd and Halestorm.
Concert-goers have the option to purchase concert-only tickets or tickets including Fair admission. The included admission is at a discounted price and is good for the day of the concert only.
