Organic Gardening: Build Your Soil's Mineral Bank
Our soils typically lack some essential minerals, so crops are bitter or get sick. Avoid nutrient deficiency by learning which organic fertilizers to choose, and how much to apply. Discover secrets to raising chemical-free, nutrient-packed foods in our region through the thoughtful use of organic fertilizers. This course meets for one 90-minute session. The instructor presents the material via a slideshow and with hands-on demonstrations.
This is an in-person Organic Gardening class that meets at Mat-Su College in the Snodgrass Hall (SGH) Building, first floor in Room 117. This course will meet for 1 day only from 12:00-1:30 p.m.
