We’ve only got a couple of FRF’s remaining this school year to help students shape their financial future!!
 
We’re bringing our next Financial Reality Fair to Valley Pathways High School in Palmer at (1150 N France Rd, Palmer, AK 99645) on Tuesday April 8^th from 8:00am to 11:00am.  We are expecting around 100 students to attend, so we will need a FULL volunteer crew!   
 
A Get REAL Financial Reality Fair provides students with an opportunity to:
 
·         Explore career paths and consider a job they may desire in the future.
·         Work with an income and learn how to budget for things like a home, car, utilities
           insurance, food, clothing, entertainment, and more.
·         Interact with local businesses who lend a touch of reality as they sell to students.
·         Meet with a financial advisor who will bring the focus back to savings and thrift
           practices, review their budgets and provide financial advice for their future.
 
There will be multiple tables in different categories; your role will be to manage one of the tables with a partner and offer students a variety of ways to spend their money.  There is also the role of the financial advisor, whose role will be to review the budgets with students and bring the focus back to savings and thrift practices. We’ll provide all the information you will need to work with the students on the day of the event.
