SUMMARY:Beginner Snowshoeing with Revel Treks and Tours
DESCRIPTION:When: Wednesday\, March 20 from 1PM-3PM\n\nWhere: Matanuska Lakes State Recreation Area\n\nAbout the snowshoe and what to expect: For this intro snowshoeing hike\, we will help you strap on snowshoes and then go float on the snow. We will start at the trailhead\, spending some time reviewing gear basics and helping everyone get acclimated with their equipment. From there\, we'll set off on a packed trail to get used to walking in snowshoes on a relatively even surface. After we've built up our confidence\, we'll leave the trail and start trudging around in the snow. On the powder\, you will experience the feeling of floating in the snow. We will cover approximately 2-3 miles of total snowshoe hiking.\n\nCan I bring my pup? No. For this particular event we ask folks to leave pups behind. Thanks for understanding!\n\nCost: \n\n\n	\n	$45 if you have your own snowshoes\n	\n	\n	$60 if you need to rent a pair\n	\n	\n	Adventure Club Bushwhacker members receive a 10% discount.\n	\n\n\nDo you have scholarships?
