2026 Republican Gubernatorial Candidate. As a 50-year Alaskan, my husband and I raised our 4 children in communities across Alaska (and now enjoy 12 grandchildren). Prior to 12+ years in the Senate and House (including as Majority Leader and Judiciary Chair), I spent 30+ years in the private sector: project consultant, policy affairs director, theatre director, contract instructor, private school teacher, and stay-at-home mom. I'm the only candidate with a long and solid conservative track record, proven success getting major accomplishments across the finish line in a tricky legislature, deep knowledge of issues and our fiscal situation, and feasible action plans to unlock Alaska’s potential. My life, my work, have prepared me well for this next step. My job now is to listen to Alaskans and do my best to ensure opportunities abound, liberties are protected, essential services continue, and Alaska's future shines bright!
