We’re spinning Support Local November a little differently in 2026:
Cookies, Cocoa, and Commerce will be open houses at businesses who sponsor. Those businesses will supply cookies or cocoa and stamp passports for people stopping by over December 4 and 5, 2026. Passport prizes will be drawn on December 8.
The community will also vote for their favorite local organization in categories like:
- 🎄 Best Holiday Decorations – The most festive and beautifully decorated business.
- ☕ Best Cocoa – The fan-favorite hot cocoa (classic or creative!).
- 🍪 Best Holiday Treat – The best cookies, sweets, or festive snack.
- ✨ Best Holiday Spirit – Awarded to the business with the friendliest, most cheerful, and welcoming team.
- 🎁 Most Festive Experience – Recognizes the overall holiday atmosphere, activities, music, and customer experience.
- ⭐ Community Favorite (or People's Choice Award) – The business that visitors enjoyed the most overall.

Passports will be available at the Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce offices and participating businesses by November 28, 2026, aka Small Business Saturday.
The Cookies, Cocoa, and Commerce event will happen at participating locations December 4 and 5, and you may turn in your passports to our office or at participating locations by December 7.
