She is Fairbanks raised and has devoted her professional life to the Credit Union movement through her time at MAC FCU. Her love for credit unions spurred as a young girl and after taking a summer internship with MAC in high school\, she decided it was the best place to be. Alyssa has been facilitating budgeting basic courses for various organizations over the last year while working tirelessly to obtain her Credit Union Financial Counselor Certification. Financial Literacy is a topic she is deeply passionate about and hopes to share that through her teachings as she recognizes that it is hardly taught in school settings\, and even more rare to be spoken about within family dynamics. By providing financial literacy services\, Alyssa and MAC FCU strive to empower individuals throughout their financial journey\, no matter where they may be on that road.
