\n\nWhiskey Myers Joins Fair&rsquo\;s 2024 Concert Line-Up

\n\nPalmer\, Alaska \;&ndash\; The multi-Platinum\, genre-bending band Whiskey Myers is gearing up for their 2024 cross-country tour\, which includes a trip north to the Alaska State Fair. The six-piece group is the second confirmed act in the \;Fair&rsquo\;s 2024 Concert Series at the ConocoPhillips Borealis Theatre. Whiskey Myers takes the stage Saturday\, August 31\, at 7 p.m.\, and tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow\, Friday\, December 8\, at 10 a.m. AKST.

\n\nKnown for their high-energy live show\, Whiskey Myers pours a unique sound described by USA Today as &ldquo\;a riff-heavy blend of Southern rock and gritty country.&rdquo\; Their latest self-produced album\, \;Tornillo\, features &ldquo\;John Wayne\,&rdquo\; which was the No. 17 most-played Americana song of 2022. The release followed their fifth studio album\, \;Whiskey Myers\, which debuted at No. 1 on both the Country and Americana/Folk sales charts\, at No. 2 on the Rock chart\, No. 6 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart and No. 3 among new releases.
\n\nSince their emergence in 2007\, Whiskey Myers has sold more than 1.65 million albums\, amassed over 2.25 billion streams\, and earned six RIAA Gold and Platinum certifications as an independent band. They&rsquo\;ve also headlined their own sold-out shows from coast to coast at iconic venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheater and Ryman Auditorium\, performed at marquee festivals like Bonnaroo\, Stagecoach and Download\, and opened The Rolling Stones&rsquo\; Chicago stadium show in 2019.
\n\nWhiskey Myers tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. tomorrow\, Friday\, December 8\, on the Fair website\, \;alaskastatefair.org\, joining the previously announced concert featuring \;Oliver Anthony.
\n\nConcert-goers have the option to purchase concert-only tickets or tickets including Fair admission. The included admission is at a discounted price and is good for the day of the concert only. Concert tickets including Fair admission must be purchased by August 15. Details on ticket options and pricing are available \;on the Fair website.
