DESCRIPTION:United Way of Mat-Su is soliciting submissions from local artists whose work reflects the Valley's rich culture and history. UWMS and its Art Advisory Board will select five artists as finalists whose work will be installed in the spring of 2021. Entries are encouraged to display our area's fabric of agriculture\, Alaska Native heritage and culture\, natural history\, Mat-Su pioneers\, or Alaska wildlife and to use an innovative approach to explore any or all of these within the context of the Mat-Su Valley.
