DESCRIPTION:Build the Workforce of Tomorrow   Partner With Us\n\n \n\nThe Don Young Alaska Job Corps Center invites local employers\, industry leaders\, and community partners to our final Community Resource Council event of the year!\n\n \n\nCome see firsthand how our students are preparing for careers in today's workforce. We will showcase all eight of our trade programs and highlight the accomplishments of students who are nearing completion of their training.\n\n \n\nBut this event is about more than showcasing student talent   it's about building connections between our students and the employers who need skilled workers.\n\n \n\nWe are looking to expand our Work-Based Learning Program and develop stronger partnerships with employers who are willing to help students gain real-world experience through opportunities such as:\n\n \n\n\n	\n	Job shadowing and career exploration\n	\n\n\n \n\n\n	\n	Work-based learning experiences\n	\n\n\n \n\n\n	\n	Internships and on-the-job training\n	\n\n\n \n\n\n	\n	Mentorship and industry engagement\n	\n\n\n \n\n\n	\n	Work experience and employment opportunities\n	\n\n\n \n\n\n	\n	Potential pathways to full-time employment\n	\n\n\n \n\nYour expertise\, time\, and partnership can make a direct difference in a young person's transition from training to a successful career.\n\n \n\nCome meet our students\, see their skills in action\, tour our training programs\, and explore how your organization can become part of a workforce-development partnership that benefits both students and employers.\n\n \n\nSave the date   and bring your team!\n\n \n\nTogether\, we can help prepare Alaska's next generation of skilled workers while developing a stronger pipeline of talent for local employers.\n\n \n\nMore details and event information coming soon.
