DESCRIPTION:Matanuska Valley Federal Credit Union is sponsoring a Get REAL Financial Reality Fair for the students of Houston High School.\n\n\n\nA Get REAL Financial Reality Fair provides students with an opportunity to:\n\n \n\n          Explore career paths and consider a job they may desire in the future.\n\n          Work with an income and learn how to budget for things like a home\, car\, utilities\n\n       insurance\, food\, clothing\, entertainment\, and more.\n\n          Interact with local business people who lend a touch of reality as they sell to students.\n\n          Meet with a financial advisor who will bring the focus back to savings and thrift practices\, review their budgets and provide financial advice for their future.\n\n \n\nThere will be multiple tables in different categories\; your role will be to manage one of the tables with a partner and offer students a variety of ways to spend their money.  There is also the role of the financial advisor\, their role will be to review the budgets with students and bring the focus back to savings and thrift practices.
