Many people with Albinism are legally blind because of the lack of pigmentation in the eyes. Albinism occurs in all racial and ethnic groups throughout the world. In the U.S.\, approximately one in 18\,000 to 20\,000 people have some type of albinism. In other parts of the world\, the occurrence can be as high as one in 3\,000. Most children with albinism are born to parents whose hair and eye color are typical for their ethnic backgrounds.\n\n\n\nCome walk and enjoy snacks with us on June 13th at 4:30pm. The walk begins at Refuge CrossFit located at 12151 E Palmer-Wasilla Hwy\, Palmer\, AK.\n\n\n\nFeel free to stop by and make donations\, enjoy snacks\, and/or enter to win prizes!
